It is well known that he has lent his voice for Ravichandran in several movies in the past and has good experience in matching their voices.
What made the filmmakers decide on bringing him onboard is his experience in acting in stage shows. This means that Srinivas Prabhu has experience in rendering dialogues for a historical to perfection, which would be an added advantage in bringing Ravichandran’s role to life. It may be mentioned here that Ravichandran plays Lord Krishna in the film. While Srinivas Prabhu’s voice will match with the star’s, the diction would also be perfect for the historical.
Directed by Naganna, Kurukshetra is produced by Muni Ratna. V Harikrishna is composing the music for this venture with Jayanan Vincent wielding the camera and Jo Ni Harsha handling the editing. The dubbing process will be wrapped up in a couple of days following which the release date will be finalised.
The film was shot extensively at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad where extravagant sets were erected to film the historical. Sources in the know say that Kurukshetra will be released in 2D as well as 3D formats.
